Dr. Battinelli grew up in Ellicott City, Maryland, and has lived in the area his entire life. He attended Calvert Hall College High School in Towson, MD, before continuing his education at the University of Maryland, College Park – Go Terps! After working in a veterinary office, Dr. Battinelli realized that his interest didn’t lie in the sick care of family pets. Instead, he became more drawn to the field of dentistry.
Dr. Battinelli uses a very holistic approach to patient care. The apple didn’t fall far from the tree as both of Dr. B’s parents are physical therapists with a strong understanding of the interconnectedness between the mouth, body, and overall health. This led him to partner with Dr. Adams, where he learned holistic dental protocols, including the Safe Mercury Amalgam Removal Technique (SMART) and Dr. Huggins’ research and protocols for root canal removals. Dr. Battinelli enjoys problem-solving and collaborating with individuals who are looking for comprehensive solutions to their health concerns through holistic dental care.
Dr. Battinelli attended the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore, where he earned his DDS. During dental school, he became actively involved in several philanthropic and cultural organizations and was honored to join both the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honors Society and The Gorgas Odontological Honorary Society, two prestigious dental societies with scholarship-based membership. Along with the required clinical skills and curriculum, Dr. Battinelli completed a Clerkship in Implant Prosthodontics, where he spent additional hours honing his skills in dental implant cases.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Battinelli loves spending time with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys staying active through sports such as volleyball, golf, and pickleball, and he cherishes time spent on the water or in Ocean City with family and friends.
